With little to report I thought I'd share some photos from my phone. As Porter grows up the photos from my phone are always blurry but I still enjoy these not so great photos, hope you do too!

{In true Meghann style instead of jumping right to discipline I decide to take pictures to send to P's father. Love the blur of something being thrown off the shelves.}
{"Oh dear, what have I done?"}To go along with the discipline thing... P still loves to get into the plant but now he's responsible for helping me clean up. We keep a little hand broom and dust tray next to the plant. He loves to sweep up the dirt... so now he makes the mess because he likes helping me clean up. Makes me laugh!
I took these in sequence... you can play "Peek-A-Boo" with Daddy when he's out of town. ;)

{Bubbles, so interesting}Lastly, and the most recent, we were steadily working on our basement and I got tired of this big task looming so I dove right in. Our house is disheveled to say the least, but hopefully when the purge is over things will be more orderly and easier to maintain. This is fun for Porter because he loves going through all the junk we're finding.
These photos are of him sorting through my college course work. Aaron and I are both sentimental people and we both struggle with the thought of tossing all our hard work from school away. However, this time I was able to do away with all my course work with the exception of the stuff from my last year. I'm dreading going through my classroom boxes. I could stuff a small storage unit with my classroom boxes.

{"I can't believe you got an A on this...it's definitely B material! Mom, you can do better than this!}
{Right=Keep, Left=Goes}Can I ask for some advice? I mentioned that Aaron and I are sentimental people, but I think some of it needs to go. I know we're the only people who can make those decisions, but do you have a rule you follow when it comes to those items?
Hope thinks are going well in your neck of the woods!

We need to hang out sometime...I think our kids would have fun making messes together. :)
We de-junk in phases. Put it in a box and shove it somewhere out of the way. If you don't go looking for it within three months, toss it.
I totally get you with keeping stuff. I had all of my school stuff, even some stuff from JR HIGH! I just get rid of some of it each year, when I realize I haven't looked at it for years. I do keep stuff from my favorite classes and sift through it so I feel justified in keeping it. But its a process. Here a little there a little. I love that Porter is getting in on all the action. I'm sure he'll help get rid of some of it for you :) Speaking of, I should probably make a trip down to the basement to do some purging. (So sad we're going to miss the play date...we'll have to do another one soon)
Oh man, he is one busy boy! You may need to get a gate to keep him out of trouble!
Lacey, we've already got 3! :)
