Our Favorite Town!

I don't know about you, but there are a handful of places that I can always return to and feel like I belong there. I think one of the reasons these places are so special to me is because they are a part of who I am. Logan is one of those places where I can be myself. We decided to head to Logan in August for a mini vacation to celebrate our Anniversary.

Couper and Kaleena were awesome and took the kids as soon as we got into town so we could sneak off for a dinner at our favorite local restaurant Le Nonne (sorry Kristin N. I completely forgot to recommend this spot when you were up there a few weeks ago, just realized it). The weather was perfect and we got to eat out on the patio in early fall weather, under maple leaves, as the sun was going down. It was blissful! I loved my dinner, sweet potato ravioli in a parmesan sauce. This dish was divine little bundles of some of my favorite flavors.

Yummy dessert!

The entire meal our waiter was charming and overly accommodating to me. Then he'd be rude and short with Aaron. Typical Italian ;). We wanted a picture together and decided it was best if I asked.

We came home to 2 happy kiddos. We all went out for some Sub Zero ice cream together. Visiting with my brother and his wife is one of the best parts of visiting Logan. We don't get to see them very often so it's nice to catch up and be together.

The 2 crib set up in a tiny hotel room was amusing to me.

He's just cute!

Mexican food for lunch.

Helping daddy with the tip.

We went swimming because it's one of Porter's favorite things to do. Porter was freezing when we got done and our room didn't have a tub so we tossed him in the shower expecting him to hate it. Nope he loved it and cried when we took him out. P.S. Aaron does have a suit on.

Uncle Couper took us to the Zoo. It was a lot of fun and Porter had a great time.

Smiling was still pretty new for her at this point.

Shy baby.

He ran free like a crazy man. It was a fantastic exercise for him.

These 2 are very good friends!

It was a simple little trip, but it made us very happy. It was low stress, comfortable, and nice. Now we need to plan our next trip up to visit, because Aggie basketball is starting up.
