Halloween

 I received some difficult news a few days before Halloween and we were hosting our friends and neighbors for a party Halloween night.  I was distracted but when the night rolled around our friends and all the kids really helped me enjoy the holiday.

Priya was a cute little lady bug.  She picked out her costume herself.

Priya figured out the system very quickly this year.  She also figured out how to abuse the system very quickly as well.  She would say, "treat-treat" get a treat then she would say, "More please!"  It was adorable and a little difficult to correct her at the same time.

We just put Porter in his Pirate dress up and he ran around yelling, "YO HO HO!" all night.

We got together with Aaron's family one night to carve pumpkins.  We had dinner and the best part of the evening was letting the kids lick beaters from the brownies.  We were all laughing and running away from the chocolate covered kids.  Porter enjoyed helping me gut the pumpkins we never got to carving them though, just seemed like too much work. :)

The party went smoothly. We took the kids out together and enjoyed donuts and hot chocolate afterwards (no one needed hot chocolate though, it was still very warm out).
