Summer Time=No Time

Here is my lame weekly update from my phone, in the car on the go. Because we never seem to be home long enough to do any blogging... which is kinda sad because that means there's a lot to blog about... I'm taking a sec to formally apologizing to our Grandmothers. There are stories and pictures to share and I hope they'll get done soon, but who knows. I'm sorry. :(

If any one still reads this and has been camping with either a toddler and/or infant I'd love any comments with your tricks and tips to a safe and happy experience.

Happy Summer! Hope you're lovin' every minute of it!

I'm glad you're having fun. Haven't seen you guys in years. I hope you're doing well.

Camping tip #1. Practice in the back yard. Tents can be a scary experience because of all the noises they let in and sleeping on the ground is uncomfortable. Practicing will help with both of those issues.

#2 Go with friends who have at least one kid the same age. The reason is obvious.

#3 Bring lots of wipes. You'll find they clean hands and faces for meal time so they go quick.

#4 Playpen is important to keep them off the ground and out of the dirt.

Hope that helps.

I'm interested in any tips you get for camping with infants - even though we've taken Danny out once. I have heard that setting up a tent in the backyard before you go and having them "practice" is a good idea.
Oh, and would you be interested in taking one playpen for the 2 babies to share up there? Not for night, but maybe during the day it'd be helpful.
OK, this is long. We should pow-wow before we go :)
