I love watching Porter discover the world one little thing at a time. Tonight he had fun with a blue frisbee. He was fascinated with looking through it and seeing the blue world on the other side! That makes me think of my own life and how I need to slow down and pay attention to the simple things more often. I swear I'm learning just as much from P as he's learning from me!

I love that you wrote a post! You're a fantastic father and P just adores you! This was so hilarious to watch...he's so creative. I would have never thought to examine the world through a frisbee.
I learned the baby heimlich in the hospital before they discharged Max after his heart surgery - basically you just lay them over your knee/leg/lap facing forward and slightly downward (with one hand holding onto them kind of at their chest) and smack them on their back til the choking hazard flies out!
Too cute! He was mesmorized!
