We are happy to announce the birth of our first little one, Porter Ray Gelter!
Porter was born at 1:59 pm today and he weighs 6 lbs 1 oz and is 19 inches long. His umbilical cord was too short to make it through the birth canal, so he had to be taken via C-Section, but he and Mom are doing just fine. We were also very surprised to discover that he has red hair like his Mom! Thanks to everyone who has come to visit already, it's been nice to see you!

Oh my heck I love him so much already. I can't wait to meet him. He is prefect just they way he is! I hope all is well with your cute family.
Tim and I are so glad that mom and baby are doing well. And of course, daddy as well! We love him so much - what a sweet spirit. It brought tears to my eyes to meet a new delivery from our Heavenly Father. Love you guys.
Ditto to what Megs just said, but just wanted to add my congratulations, we can't wait for Porter and Emerie to become buds!
I know you guys will become pros at the parenting thing quickly with all the classes and what-not, but don't hesitate to let us know if we can be of assistence with anything.
He is SOOO dang cute you guys! What a choice spirit of our Heavenly Father & he was sent here just for you! He couldn't have chose better parents to raise him. I am so proud of you guys and I look up to you! We love you guys and Porter SO much!!

Heavenly Father couldn't have chosen more perfect parents for such a sweet and select spirit as Porter. I can't wait to meet him and give you a hug, Meghann! We send all of our love your way :D
