Catching Up

This is pretty unlike me, sorry it's been so long since I posted. So lets get you in on the loop.

Lets start with the best Mom ever, mine of course! First she bought me this Wonderful Christmas Gift! WAHOO!!! I'm so excited to get to watch this movie whenever I want.
Then I got a text from my Mom this morning letting me know that she wants to go to The Nutcracker with me! I was planning on going solo, since Aaron refused to go with me. Another holiday tradition triumph, thanks to Mom.

Now Thanksgiving! We had a really fun weekend with my entire extended family down in Torrey at my grandparent's home. Here are some of the things we had fun doing. First we hung out and enjoyed the chatter while dinner was prepared. Every Thanksgiving in Torrey I like to go in the other room and just listen to the family, it makes me happy inside.Oh yeah, and I got to hang out with this perfect little man, Steadman. Thanks to his mommy for letting me cuddle with the baby.

The following day we loaded into the truck and went up on the mountain Christmas tree hunting. We had great luck this year and found some beautiful trees and lots of fun! My Uncle Kurt and Aaron were great sports and put up with 5 giggly women all morning long. It's always beautiful on "the Boulder". Here are a couple of shots from this weekend. We were so cold after Christmas tree hunting that we decided to clean up, warm up, and enjoy the remainder of the day just lounging around. Aaron was undefeated in ping pong for the duration of the weekend, and had fun being competitive.

Can you see the Rhino? It's camouflaged with all of the trees!

The next day we got up and went exploring the red cliffs around the house and spotting petrified wood. The fresh air was fun and we saw some great scientific rocks. After we headed back to the house, I was a party pooper and decided to take a nap instead of going to the annual Potter vs. Steadman shoot off. Aaron went along with the gang and apparently I married a good shot. I know it's a little old fashion, but I love that my Man can use a gun. We ended up staying up pretty late watching "Baby Mama".

We headed home that night and Aaron again proved his handiness and what a value to the family he is by being willing to drive home since Gregg and Baylee had the flu. We got home and crashed. What a great weekend!
